Memorial and Bereavement Services

The white-steepled Colonial church is a beautiful historic building - a perfect setting for a special service for your loved one. The sanctuary seats 175 people and includes seating on an upper balcony.

Our Funeral Coordinator will work with the pastor, organist, and secretary, together with the funeral home to fulfill your wish to have this important life milestone service to be the one that honors their life, reflects their special contributions to our lives, and provides spiritual support for family and friends.

History

The historic sanctuary was dedicated on February 23, 1874. Admired for its simple beauty, the building replaced a pre-Revolutionary meeting house built in 1782. When the meeting house was destroyed by fire, a new church was built at a cost of $7,900 with sixteen horse sheds upon the foundation of the original building. Read more.
