Doves for Christmas

This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the Person-to-Person Dove program. Christmas Doves would never have been possible without the support of area churches.

White Doves

White Dove boxes provide holiday food to families in need, but they also give us the opportunity to share our blessings at Christmas time! Each year, our church participates in this program by finding people willing to fill a box with food. A suggested list is provided below and $15 for a meat voucher is requested.

Breakfast: Tea or coffee, hot chocolate, pancake mix and syrup, hot or cold cereal.

Lunch: Tuna fish, mayonnaise, instant soup, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, canned fruit.

Dinner: Rice, dried beans, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, cookies, jello or pudding.

Green Doves

A Green Dove, a financial donation which helps with emergency assistance, is equally appreciated!

Pick-up and drop-off Schedule

You may choose the size of the family receiving your gift and are noted on the Doves. Doves may be picked up at the church beginning Sunday, November 20 and continuing through December 11. They are due back at the Church on December 18 in a wrapped box.
